Since 2009, we have remained a family-owned and operated estate vineyard with food, wine, and community-building events year-round. Today, we are the most awarded winery in North America for single-varietal wines. We grow 12 varietals in our unique microclimate in the heart of the Sierra Foothills wine appellation of Placer County. We invite you to join our community by attending the many winery events we host like grape stomps, wine blending parties, and more.
When owner and founder Dr. Grover C. Lee decided to plant a vineyard, he chose our location because it has the perfect microclimate and soils that have allowed us to grow a whopping 12 varietals. We also feature one of the best restaurants in Lincoln, with gourmet plates designed to pair perfectly with our world-class wines.

Winery Tour & Tasting
Learn how wine is made on a one-hour educational tour with Dr. Grover Lee, every Saturday and Sunday at 11:30 am. Dr. Lee will guide you through a short walk of our beautiful vineyard where you’ll discuss sustainable vineyard management, organic viticulture, and our unique micro-climate (our secret ingredient).
Then, bring all of your questions about the science of winemaking to a behind-the-scenes tour of our winery. Dr. Lee will also tell you about the history of Placer County wines and what led us to feature a winery and food to pair.
Wine Tasting
No wine tour is complete without a wine tasting! A wine tasting is a unique opportunity to compare and contrast what you’re tasting with now what you’ve tasted before. The aromas in wine are subtle and often difficult to detect for beginners, and it’s a revelatory experience to taste and smell them side by side.
Our knowledgeable staff will guide you through five of our world-class wines, and you’ll undoubtedly surprise yourself when you discover new aromas you never noticed before. Our tastings include 5 wines for only $20 plus tax. We waive the tasting fee with the purchase of two bottles.
After your tour and wine tasting, we invite you to treat yourself to one of the best restaurants in Lincoln—our Tuscan-style bistro.
Tuscan-Style Bistro
For winery and food lovers alike, we’ve got the pairing of a lifetime for you. We’re the only winery in Placer County to feature a full dining experience. Our Tuscan-style gourmet bistro is home to an outstanding menu featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and flavor profiles designed to enhance the wine you select.
Our charming courtyard is romantic and perfect for special occasions, lunch, or just for fun! You’ll taste chef-prepared small plates and world-class wine overlooking the rolling hills of our vineyards and the Sacramento Valley.
Join us for an event
Throughout the seasons, we invite our community to have fun, break bread, and experience local talent. Join us for Prime Rib Thursdays, a midweek gourmet chef-prepared prime rib meal at our intimate bistro from 11:00 am-8:00 pm every Thursday. Or listen to amazing local musicians every Friday night from 5:30-7:30 pm. It’s the perfect way to unwind after the week.
We host a variety of other winery events throughout the year like grape stomps, paint and sips, wine blending parties, and of course: wine dinners! Our wine dinners, guided by Dr. Grover Lee, take you through a 5-course food and wine experience, unlike anything you’ve tasted before.
On September 17th, join us for the annual “I Love Lucy” Grape Stomp. Ladies are invited (but not required) to don a white dress and a bandana in the style of our favorite 1950s funny gal, and stomp grapes while the band plays. It’s a chance to experience traditional European winemaking firsthand but it’s also a once-in-a-lifetime photo opportunity, so men: have your cameras ready!
Travel Wine Tours
Gain a deeper understanding of wine by traveling the world with us! We love inviting our community to travel to other wine regions, taking what we understand about our terroir and expanding it to the wine world beyond. We’ve traveled together to Italy, France, Argentina, Chile, Portugal, and Spain.
Owner and winemaker Dr. Grover Lee guides a 10-day luxury wine tour and travel experience to some of the greatest wine regions in the world. Join a small group of 15 wine lovers on a private tour of some of the most beautiful vineyards, wineries, hotels, and exquisite dining places. You’ll return home with a deeper understanding of wine, and an array of new food and wine experiences under your belt.
Wine Tasting Near Me
Our unique microclimate in the foothills of the Sierra Mountains allows us to grow 12 different varietals. We specialize in making distinctive single-varietal wines using sustainable and organic practices, and our efforts have been rewarded. In 2019, we were awarded 27 medals in the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition.
We put thought and intention behind every choice we make, from each move we make in the vineyard to what we garnish on our chef-prepared small plates. Our events are curated with the goal of fostering community around sustainability, great food, and great wine.
We grow classic white grapes like Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay, as well as lesser-known Torrontes, Pinot Gris, and Muscat. We grow red grapes like Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Malbec, Barbara, Tannat, Sangiovese, and more! To get the full experience, join us for a wine tasting.
