Farm and Barn Tour Sunday October 11, 2026 11AM-4PM

The Farm and Barn Tour is a ticket-free & self-guided tour through the farms and ranches of Placer County. Each year the list of destinations open their farms up to experience their farms in a very special way! You can choose from 15-20 destinations with family-friendly activities, farm tours, and agricultural demonstrations while shopping local artisanal vendors and enjoying fresh, local foods, drinks, and fall products. At Wise Villa Winery and Restaurant, we are presenting self-guided walking tours, wine tastings, coloring pages for kids, and our full restaurant menu is open to enjoy.  Our weekly winery tour with Dr. Grover Lee is also available at 11am this day for $20 a person (resevations required). We have family friendly spaces on the lawn neear the vineyards along with additional tables for guests to enjoy our chef prepared gourmet meals, appetizers, or just some relaxing glasses of wine. We offer a variety of non-alcoholic beverages for the kids as well. Be sure to mark us down as a must visit spot as you explore all that Placer County has to offer.

Sip and Paint – Paint on Glass event

Come join us for a winery-themed Paint on Glass night! Danielle from Paint and Party Co will guide you step-by-step as you create a colorful vineyard painting on glass, then flip it over for the final reveal. No experience needed and all materials are included.  You will also receive a complimentary select glass of wine from our select wine menu during the event. Limited to 26 spots so sign up today!

Winery Tours With Dr. Grover Lee | Every Saturday and Sunday

Join Dr. Grover Lee, founder of Wise Villa Winery and Restaurant, for a fun, lighthearted journey through the history and science of wine—from its roots in Europe thousands of years ago to modern winemaking today. Whether you are new to wine or highly knowledgeable, you’ll discover the deep-rooted concepts behind wine science, common misconceptions, and the “why” behind what ends up in your glass. As you tour our winery, consider this question: What led Wise Villa Winery & Restaurant to earn the highest award given by the State of California, presented at the State Capitol, for having the highest number of quality wines of any winery in California? In 2015, Wise Villa received that prestigious State of California recognition. Then, in 2019, at the San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, Wise Villa earned the highest number of quality wine awards of any winery in California, the United States, and North America—without “playing the entry game.” By the end of the tour, you may never look at a bottle of wine the same way again.

Monthly Walking Vineyard Tours | First and Last Fridays of the Month

Led by our Vineyard Manager, Cleveland Speece, these guided walks invite guests into the vines to explore the seasonal life cycle of the vineyard and the hands-on farming practices behind every bottle of wine we produce. This immersive experience is new to Wise Villa as of 2026, providing guests a deeper connection to the wines you enjoy—straight from the source.

Each walk is interactive, educational, and seasonally focused, with topics evolving month by month to reflect what’s happening in the vineyard at that exact time. Guests are encouraged to ask questions, engage in discussion, and gain a greater appreciation for the dedication and hard work required throughout the growing season. Upcoming Additional Dates:

5 Course Wine Pairing Dinner

Join us for an elegant dinner & entertainment hosted by Dr. Grover Lee. Indulge your senses throughout the evening with 5 gourmet chef creations paired with 5 hand-selected premium wines. Holiday Wine Blending Party

Uncork Your Creativity: Wine Blending Party. Discover the art and science of winemaking at our exclusive Wine Blending Party here at Wise Villa Winery! This unique, interactive experience invites wine lovers of all levels to blend their very own custom wine while enjoying great company and ambiance. What to Expect:

• Introduction to Blending: Starts with a brief lesson from the owner, Dr. Grover Lee on the basics of wine blending, learn about different grape varietals and how they combine to create the perfect bottle.
• Hands-On Experience: Taste a selection of single-varietal wines, then blend percentages to create your own signature blend. Experiment with proportions and find your ideal flavor profile.
• Labeling: Once you've mastered your blend, our Wise Villa Staff will bottle your creation and use your personalized label to take home that very evening!
• Dinner:  Enjoy a 4 course meal post blending with an appetizer, salad, steak, potatoes, seasonal vegetables and a delicious dessert.Whether you're a seasoned sommelier or simply enjoy a good glass of wine, this event promises to be a fun, educational, and memorable evening.

5K Wine Run At Wise Villa Winery And Restaurant
