Sunset International Wine Competition 2023

Wise Villa Winery, a well-known winery in the Sacramento region of the Sierra foothills, is known for it’s impressive wine awards such as, the “Golden State Winery of the Year 2015”, the highest award given by the State of California, “San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition 2019, for having the Highest number of wine awards of single varietal wines in North America. Every year, since the first vintage year of 2009, Wise Villa Winery has been one of the highest awarded winery for quality wines from the California State Fair Wine Competition, Orange County Wine Competition (the largest wine competition in California), and the San Francisco Chronicle wine Competition.

Wise Villa has, “hit it out of the park”, again with the highly respected Sunset International Wine Competition 2023, with Wise Villa’s, stainless-steel Chardonnay, a clean, crisp fruit forward wine. A Double Gold, Best of Class, 97 points. Ten wines were entered, and ten wines were awarded. One Best of Class, Double Gold, (SS Chardonnay) Two more Gold, (2020 Petite Sirah & 2021 Tempranillo) Six Silver, (2022 Bouquet of Roses, 2020 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2022 Sauvignon Blanc, 2022 Torrontes, 2020 Touriga Nacional, 2020 Zinfandel) and One Bronze. (2022 Muscat).
