Our Winery & Vineyard Tours
Dr. Lee will present data that will enlighten the most or least knowledgeable person about wine. In a fun, lighthearted manner, Dr Lee will take you back into Europe, thousands of years in the world of wine and up to present days.
You will learn some deep-rooted concepts that developed long ago, which laid the base of wine science. Light will be shown on many misconceptions, and the why behind these misconceptions. You will never look at another bottle of wine again in the same way at the conclusion of the tour.
Afterward, we encourage you to elevate your experience with a chef-prepared gourmet lunch. Discover how the perfect combination of wine and food creates an experience that will truly captivate the senses!

Walking Vineyard Tours - $20
Approx. 1 Hour Tour
Available First & Last Friday of every month (weather permitting)

Led by our Vineyard Manager, Cleveland Speece, these guided walks invite guests into the vines to explore the seasonal life cycle of the vineyard and the hands-on farming practices behind every bottle of wine we produce. This immersive experience is new to Wise Villa as of 2026, providing guests a deeper connection to the wines you enjoy—straight from the source.
Each walk is interactive, educational, and seasonally focused, with topics evolving month by month to reflect what’s happening in the vineyard at that exact time. Guests are encouraged to ask questions, engage in discussion, and gain a greater appreciation for the dedication and hard work required throughout the growing season.
Tour Details:
- Complimentary for Wine Club Members (membership will be verified at check in)
- $20 per person for the general public
- Tour to start at 11:30AM with check in at 11AM.

Seasonal Vineyard Walk Topics
Each monthly walk focuses on the vineyard’s current stage of development:
- March: Bud break and bud swell, early season development, and vine nutritional needs
- April: Early season development and first pass shoot thinning
- May: Water management, BioFiltro, canopy management, second pass shoot thinning, and flowering
- June: Canopy management, fruit set, and leaf pulling
- July: Berry growth, canopy management, crop thinning, and sun protection
- August: Veraison, sugar accumulation, Brix testing, and bird protection
- September: Harvest and Brix (sugar) testing
- October: Post-harvest vine nutrition
- November: Vine senescence, soil amendments, composting, and cover crop planning
- December: Vine dormancy, pruning preparation, and planning for the upcoming season
These vineyard walks are ideal for wine enthusiasts who want to better understand the grit, care, and seasonal work that takes place behind the scenes each day in the vineyard.
