We are a family owned and operated winery, estate vineyard, and Tuscan-style restaurant nestled in the Sierra Foothills Wine Appellation of Placer County. Our grapes are Certified Sustainable and meticulously grown using organic and certified sustainable practices. During harvest we go a step further by triple sorting and implementing whole berry, cold fermentation to retain a balanced wine with natural fresh fruit character.

Wise Villa Winery was awarded the “2015 Golden State Winery of the Year”, by the California State Fair which is the oldest and one of the largest, most prestigious blind wine competitions in the United States. This award was presented at the Governor’s Office and was acknowledged by the CA State Senate and Assembly. Wise Villa Winery was also awarded numerous medals in the 2019 San Francisco Chronicle Wine Competition, the largest wine competition in the United States, resulting in being ranked the #1 Winery in North America for Single Varietal wines.
