Wise Villa Winery overlooks the Sacramento Valley, one of the oldest wine regions in California. Out of all of the wineries in Lincoln CA, we are home to a unique microclimate that allows us to grow 13 different grapes. That’s a lot to taste!

Dr. Grover Lee is passionate about the science of winemaking, the art of barrel aging, and what makes the foothills of the Sierra Mountains the perfect place to grow everything from Zinfandel to Torrontes. His tours are as personal as they are informative, and you’ll leave with a whole new understanding of the world of wine.

Dr. Lee is also passionate about sharing the history of the Wise Villa Estate. On your tour, you’ll learn how we became the Golden State Winery of the Year in 2015. This is your chance to ask your burning questions and learn what sets us apart from other wineries in Lincoln CA.

Book Your Tour

Tours take place on Saturday and Sunday mornings and last one hour. Arrive to our winery at 11:30 am for check-in at our bistro, then begin your tour at 12 pm.

Dr. Lee will guide you through a short walk in the vineyard where you’ll learn about how our terroir is reflected in our wine. Then, Dr. Lee will bring you behind the scenes into the winery to learn about the choices we make every day that give our wines their signature character.

We grow more grapes than other wineries in Lincoln CA, and you’ll leave with an understanding of not only how but why we do that.

Be sure to bring all of your questions and your appetite. After your tour, we invite you to reserve a table in our Tuscan-style gourmet restaurant for lunch. Here’s your chance to put your palate to the test and finally taste everything you’ve learned about.
